Our forest school leaders and play leaders are committed to delivering exceptional holiday club experiences for your children.

Based in beautiful native woodlands owned and maintained by The National Trust, on the southern side of Bath, we invite a maximum of 24 young people aged 8-16 to spend a day in the woods creating memorable moments, playing, enjoying nature and learning practical bushcraft skills.
Ninja Squirrels holiday clubs are hosted by two experienced forest school leaders and one play leader creating the perfect balance of woodland play and skills.
Ninja Squirrels holiday clubs take place from 9am to 5pm, from Tuesday to Thursday, during the Easter holidays, May half term week and the Summer holidays.
Our site has a lovely compost toilet and large waterproof awning over the fire area. We also provide a large event shelter and plenty of tarpaulins so rain doesn’t ever stop play.

We like to let the children lead the way so that they can follow their interests and we have plenty of activities prepared in order to get everybody involved. We have the resources, knowledge and skills to deliver these activities and many more:

We plan themed days so that those who are unsure of what they’d like to do get to experience something special. We always encourage battle archery but never force anyone to do anything they don’t feel comfortable doing.
Ultimately, anything can happen on any day depending on what our clients want to do but these are the daily themes if they have no requests:
Tuesdays = Base Camp: Making waterproof and windproof shelters and dens. Learn and develop essential knots and skills to protect yourself from the elements.
Wednesdays = Get Crafty: Whittling and wool-craft to enable creativity and create practical bushcraft items. Learn and develop useful knots and the skills to use sharp tools safely.
Thursdays = Fire Day: Foraging fire wood, fire-starting, maintaining fires & campfire cooking. Learn and develop the skills for making a campfire and the basics of food hygiene and fire safety while cooking on a campfire.
Ninja Squirrels holiday clubs take place during the Easter holidays, May half term week and the Summer holidays, on these dates in 2026:
Our holiday clubs days run from 9am to 5pm and cost £45/day (although sibling discounts and block-booking discounts are available).
Bring a packed lunch, water bottle and suitable clothing for the weather. We will most likely have lunch around the campfire so cheese sandwiches wrapped in foil can be turned into toasties very easily. Feel free to send your child in with something they can warm on the fire.
Please use the 'Book Now' buttons or hit this link. By doing that you will be directed to our iPal booking system where you will need to create an account. Once there you will need to add your children's details and make your bookings.
Not yet but we intend to be. We understand that our registration will enable you to spend childcare vouchers with us so we are working on it.
Yes, but it is a shorter day; running from 11am to 3pm. We still aim to fit in as much as possible from the activity list above though. If you receive the HAF vouchers, associated with free school meal provision, look out for us when you are given your list of providers. Food is provided by us so campfire cooking always happens but what else happens is entirely up to the children on the day.
